More than 450 delegates attended the 35th China Emulsified Asphalt Association (CEAA) annual meeting held in the City of Chengdu in China on March 1-3, 2023. Pavement preservation presentations were given by experts over two days with an emphasis on innovation and low carbon technologies as the conference theme. Machinery manufacturers displayed equipment during the conference. Material suppliers, equipment and technology providers had booths in the exhibition hall during the event to further engage and exchange information with the attendees.  CEAA is planning to arrange a group to attend the ISSA annual workshop early next year in Las Vegas and take this opportunity to visit other venues to exchange on pavement preservation approaches with US professionals. The 2023 CEAA annual meeting was a real success based on the richness of the topics presented and strong attendance. International visitors are warmly invited to attend next year’s CEAA meeting in China.
