What’s New with ISSA Technical Director Chris Hollenback

Hello again everyone! As you all are aware we are in the heat of our busiest part of the pavement preservation season, the summer. The volume and complexity of ongoing projects has absorbed much of my bandwidth, and I appreciate everyone’s support on the latest ISSA Forum call.  If you missed it, the topic was “How to make your preservation dollars go further” led by ISSA President Jeff Roberts.  During the call multiple topics were covered including: Good “project” and “product” selection, Understanding spread rates, Accurate Bid Quantities, and Traffic Control limits and specifying the right equipment.  I heard there were great conversations between industry and multiple subject matter experts that were in attendance making the call beneficial to the audience in attendance. Again, if you haven’t gotten the chance to listen in or participate, we are scheduling these calls quarterly so you’ll have more opportunities in the near future.  I’m always interested in hearing what might interest you or your company during these calls so please don’t hesitate to reach out directly. As field activity remains at a peak, I’m doing my best to stay responsive and maintain the high standards you expect.
